Our client – Home Start Warrington

Home Start Warrington is a family support charity that provides support to families in Warrington and Cheshire from trained volunteers who are themselves parents. They offer emotional support, practical help, and guidance on parenting skills, with their goal being to improve the well-being of children and parents, and ultimately help families achieve a happier and more stable home life.

What we did

Website Design and Development 

Home Start Warrington approached us with the goal of creating a new website that would improve their online presence and help the organisation reach more families in need of support. The focus was to develop the website to be user-friendly and easy to navigate, with clear information on the services they offer. It also needed to convey the friendly and approachable nature of the organisation, and provide a platform for volunteers to sign up and get involved.

We collaborated closely to gain a deeper understanding of their goals and values. The team at Home Start Warrington emphasised the importance of being approachable and friendly, and wanted their website to reflect this. They also emphasised the need for a clear and simple user experience, as many of the families they work with may not be tech-savvy. The colour scheme of the website reflected their branding and also bright and welcoming colours, with shades of purple, orange, blue, yellow and pink.

The website was created with full responsiveness in mind, which ensures that it can be easily accessed and navigated on mobile devices as well as desktop computers, as some families seeking support from Home Start Warrington may not have regular access to a desktop computer.
