Slips Away is Liverpool based company that specialises in producing non-slip bath-stair treads and anti-slip tape. Their products are suitable for a wide range of surfaces, including bathtubs, stairs, and kitchen floors.

What we did

Website Design and Development

Slips Away sought our assistance here at Character Creates to develop a new website that enables their customers to make purchases directly online. To achieve this, we recommended using Shopify, due to it’s user-friendly interface and high degree of customisation. By implementing Shopify, Slips Away could efficiently manage their online store while integrating essential features like payment processing, inventory management, and shipping capabilities.

The project started off with focusing on the website’s layout and user interface. Our team developed a modern design that effectively showcased Slips Away’s emphasis on safety and reliability. By leveraging the company’s existing logo and colour scheme, we ensured a cohesive look throughout the website. Ultimately, we created an aesthetically pleasing and functional website that was also optimised for search engine visibility.

After finalising the design, the team began building the website’s backend using Shopify’s E-Commerce platform. We added product listings for Slips Away’s non-slip bath-stair treads and anti-slip tape, along with high-quality images and detailed descriptions and also set up a system for processing payments securely and efficiently.
